After checking out these renovations, I am pumped to go skating again!

I remember the days of growing up in Shreveport. Before phones and boardwalks, there was really only one place for middle schoolers to go on the weekends... That place, of course, was Hot Wheels Skating Palace. My mom can attest to this: I spent every single Friday night for four years at Hot Wheels.

I remember the feeling of getting dropped off and quickly running inside to see if any of my friends had made it their yet. That was truly a special time in my childhood, and I'm sure it was a special time for many of you as well. I especially love going to Hot Wheels now because my daughters love it just as much as I did. In fact, back in February, my youngest daughter turned five years old. I told her she could have her party literally anywhere within driving distance. From day one, she said Hot Wheels Skating Palace and never wavered. We were there from open to close and the girls had a blast.

Amid this COVID-19 pandemic, Hot Wheels Skating Palace got to work to ensure that when things return to normal, patrons would be in for quite the amazing surprise. Even better news? You won't have to wait long as Hot Wheels in Bossier has announced they'll be opening to the public THIS weekend, Friday and Saturday. They will be limiting inside costumers to 250 inside at once.
