Holiday Spending to Grow This Year

While y'all are out spending more money than ever before, don't forget to buy your favorite radio DJ something!

In all seriousness, it's looking like we're set to spend more money this holiday season. I know, just the thought of spending money and Christmas in general is probably making a few of you cringe, but we have to face it... Holiday season is practically here.

Believe it or not, some folks have already dove right in and began Christmas shopping. Personally, I don't even like to think about Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving, but to each their own.

LSU in Baton Rouge recently discovered that Louisianians on average will spend $1,100 this holiday season. They found that the biggest growth in spending will come from online shopping. They also note that with more money being spent, fraud will be on the rise as well, so always be on the lookout for suspicious activity.
