Are you ready to let your hair down and listen to some great music in Columbia Park? Get ready, because the Highland Jazz and Blues Festival is announcing its 2022 line-up at its annual announcement and preview party!

The 2022 Highland Jazz and Blues Festival Announcement Party is being held Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Bear's in Shreveport.

At the announcement party, festival organizers will reveal this year's musical line-up at 7:15 pm and unveil the poster and souvenir artwork for this year’s event. Dirty Redd will take the stage at 8:30 pm. Admission and parking are free.

The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival is easily one of Shreveport's more eclectic events and will be held Saturday, September 17th, 2022. The location, as always, will be in Shreveport’s historic Highland neighborhood at Columbia Park. Like any true Louisiana festival, it'll be chock full of music and food. Last year's event featured eight bands playing from 11 am to 6 pm on two stages. This free music festival is a gift to the community from the Highland Area Partnership.

The Festival is a non-profit 501(c)3 and is happy to take any help you can get, from setting up at Columbia Park and cleaning up following the event, to checking in other volunteers, manning the beer and ticket booths, selling merchandise, and helping guests in the VIP tent. If this sounds like something you might like to do, head to Bear's Thursday, July 28th, and we're sure one of the event organizers will be happy to get you signed up!
