Here's Where You Can Get Free Water on Thursday

You have several locations around town to pick up free water. the Office of Homeland Security is setting up sites across Caddo Parish for today (Thursday, Feb 25).

The water operations begin at noon except at the site at Southern which kicks off at 1pm.

Here are the sites:

Youree Drive Middle School (enter from Carroll Street)
Southern Hills Elementary School (enter from Kingston Road)
C.E. Byrd High School (enter from Gladstone Boulevard)
Huntington High School (enter from Rasberry Lane)
Independence Stadium/State Fairgrounds (enter from Greenwood Avenue)
Vivian Public Works Camp - 108 Finley Dr.
Springridge Public Works Camp - 11928 Greenwood-Springridge Rd
Caddo Parish Fleet Services – 1701 Monty St
Southern University at Shreveport - 3050 Dr Martin Luther King Dr

Each car will be allowed to pick up one case of water.

Much of the water has been restored across Shreveport but we are still under a boil advisory. The mayor is hoping that order can be lifted by Saturday.
