Saturday, as my vacation was nearing the end, we decided to spend the day with the whole family out on Cypress Lake.  As we entered the Cypress/Black Bayou Recreation Area, we made our regular stop in the Cypress Zoo to see the new additions, like a 2 week old spotted fawn, we made the discovery that something was missing.  Paco, the parrot, had flown the coop.  "Paco" flew off on June 4 and has yet to return.

Zoo officials believe he is still likely in the Benton or North Bossier area, but could have traveled quite a distance in this time.

They are asking all of us to help locate Paco and reunite him with his family at the zoo.  And they've put up a $1,000 reward for his safe return or information that directly leads to his safe return.  If you spot him, please call the Cypress Zoo immediately at 318-965-4223 or message the staff on their Facebook Page.
