Are you like me and love being scared! I've been to countless haunted houses and seen almost every scary movie so it's next to impossible for me to get scared... I think I have the solution! I've found the top haunted places that you can rent a room and stay the night at in Louisiana!

The Myrtle Plantation

The first place is said to be one of the most haunted places in the united states and it's just a few hours away! The Plantation is located in St Francisville just north of Baton Rouge and it was built in 1796. Today you can stay the night in one of the rooms starting at $140.

Nottoway Plantation

Nottoway Plantation is located in White Castle La and was built in 1859. The house is said to be haunted by several spirits including the ghost of a coachmen who was killed while standing guard during the civil war. For around $130 you can stay the night and for more you can even get married on the grounds.

T’Frere’s House

The house is currently a B&B in Lafayette and haunted by the spirit of the past owner. The ghost is said to be a woman named Amelie who died when she fell into the well and died. The house is currently under construction in areas which has caused sightings to be more frequent than usual.

Hotel Bentley

Just a short drive away Hotel Bentley is located in downtown Alexandria with rooms starting around $130 a night. The hotel staff claim that most of the hotel is haunted by several spirits including one of a young lady who fell to her death in the elevator shaft.

Parks-Bowman Mansion

You can rent this bedroom on for only $115 a night in New Orleans. Parks-Bowman is listed on AirBnB as one of the 10 Most Haunted places to stay in the world voted on by Buzzfeed. The room is haunted by a young girl in a yellow dress from the 1890s who visitors say seems shy as shes quick to come and go from the room.
