Greenwood Police To Have DUI Checkpoint

You should never drink and drive...ever! And that rule is never more needed than during New Year festivities. With the number of revelers who will be out and about celebrating, you have to maintain your own safety and that of those around you.

Get a DD, take a cab, spend the night, or celebrate at home. Those are your choices. If you choose to drink and drive in Greenwood, you may spend the first days of 2016 in the tank.

The Greenwood Police Department is going to be working a DWI Checkpoint funded by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission. Officers will be conducting the Checkpoint on December 29, 2015, in an effort to keep drunk and “buzzed” drivers off our streets.
