Look out Oprah, here comes Gayle Benson!  This incredibly philanthropic owner of the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans just made hundreds of Christmas dreams come true across Louisiana.

According to NOLA.com, Santa Gayle just dropped an undisclosed (but obviously insane) amount of money in order to pay off nearly 250 layaway tabs at Walmart stores in New Orleans and Alexandria - and about 40 in Alabama!  Just imagine the holiday stress she just melted away with the snap of a finger!

Mrs. Benson is no stranger to blowing holiday minds. She was discovered as a Secret Santa back in 2018 after she just popped in and dropped 100K on layaway at a store on Tchoupitoulas St. in New Orleans.  That little act most definitely put her on the nice side of the list - 408 families benefitted in that little Christmas caper.

I don't know why Gayle Benson does it, but reading about this Billionaire's habit of putting smiles on random people's faces at Christmas really got me.  Just knowing that she might be out there right now somewhere in a Walmart, just lurking behind a mask with her hand on her checkbook makes me happy.  I hope she spreads more of that joy this holiday season (in Shreveport/Bossier if she's reading this) and Santa brings her a Drew Brees cloning machine for Christmas.
