Free Family Summer Camp Workshops at Bass Pro!

Steven and I drove out to Cypress Black Bayou yesterday and we took a trip down memory lane. Tents, campers, rows of damp towels drying on clotheslines and the smell of good things on the grill drifting through the campground. Do you remember how magical the outdoors were when we were kids.? In honor of all things outdoors, the good folks down at Bass Pro on the Boardwalk are hosting FREE family summer camp workshops full of all those fun things that make memories to last a lifetime.

Free Workshops June 4th through July 10th!

The Bass Pro Shops Family Summer Camp features FREE activities and workshops for the entire family.

Features: Outdoor skill training, hiking, camping, fishing, bird watching, animal identification, pets in the outdoors, plants, insects.

The kids are going to earn a collectible pin for every workshops that they complete.

Crafts: kids will enjoy FREE crafts! They will make their own camp scene door knob hanger, paint a wiggle fish, design a birdhouse, make a camping photo frame, stamp and color an animal track picture and make Dad a leather keychain!

Workshops happen Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

Most important: Each Saturday during these FREE workshops enjoy S'MORES from 7-8 pm!!!
