Four Northwest Louisiana High School Football Teams to Play for State Championships

This time last week, we had four Northwest Louisiana High Schools with State Championships still heavy on their minds.  And this week, those same four schools are still hoping to find room for the championship trophies in their trophy cases.

Congratulations to Haynesville, Parkway, Calvary and Parkway for making it this far and winning their way to the big games.

If you're planning to head for New Orleans and the Super Dome this week, here's the schedule for those games:

• In Division 3, Calvary Baptist Academy will play Archbishop Hannan Thursday at 12:30 p.m.
• In Division 1, Byrd will take on Archbishop Rummel Thursday at 8:30 p.m.
• In 1-A, Haynesville will play Mangham Friday at 12:30 p.m.
• In 5-A Parkway will play Acadiana Saturday at 8:00 p.m.
