Former President George H.W. Bush has been hospitalized just after laying his wife Barbara to rest.

Major news outlets are reporting Bush was admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital yesterday (Sunday, April 22, 2018) with an infection that led to sepsis. Bush is reportedly in the intensive care unit. Blood infections are already serious, but at Bush's age (93-years-old) that makes his condition even more critical . According to a statement from the Bush family, the elder Bush is 'responding to treatment and appears to be recovering.'
