Caught in the Act - Eric Hoffman
loading...

Same can be said about the people we celebrate each week as the true gems of Kiss Country and the Caught in the Act Award.

Before we can ever catch someone in the act, another selfless person has to take the time to submit a nomination for that person.

This week, we're tickled that Kaleb Garbarino took the time to send in the nomination for Eric Hoffman!  Otherwise, we might have never had privilege of shining the spotlight on this incredible guy!

Eric's dedication to people in our community make him the exact type of person we are looking for and an easy selection as this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award!

Thank you guys! Eric, for being so amazing, and Kaleb, thank you for taking the time to nominate him!

Eric "Buzz" Hoffman is a retired USAF Major who continues to serve his country as a government civilian at Barksdale AFB. He also finds ways to give back by founding his own nonprofit organization called FRST (First Responders Support Team) that helps military, LEOs, first responders, and lineman get the mental healthcare they need, find the resources they need, or even help if they get behind on bills. He also started his own firewood company selling the best seasoned firewood in the area called Buzzcuts Firewood. Buzz is truly a selfless guy and goes out of his way to help others and continues to give back to his community and others.

Eric Hoffman, because you've been 'Caught in the Act' the gang at Magnolia Pit Barbecue have a $50 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Eric to let him know that he was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
