Six days a week, Gary and Bristol get up before the sun shines to bring you the latest from Nashville, New York City and Hollywood with Entertainment this Morning!

How cool is this?!?! LSU’s #7 Leonard Fournette made the cover of Sports Illustrated. The sophomore from New Orleans has led the Tigers to a 5-0 record this season and a top 10 ranking. Over the weekend, Fournette’s wish to auction his jersey from the South Carolina game to benefit flooding victims forced the NCAA to reconsider it’s position regarding whether or not the names and likenesses of players have individual value. That’s why you can buy an LSU jersey with the number 7 on it but not one with Fournette’s name. The NCAA decided that this cause was worthy of a player profiting off of his likeness, as long as the profit doesn’t go to him. It’s an arbitrary interpretation of what it means to be an amateur, but we applaud the NCAA for their decision.

We also couldn’t be happier for Fournette, as the Heisman frontrunner was compared by SI to greats like Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson! Geaux Tigers!

BTW, the last LSU football player to grace the cover of SI was Tyrann Mathieu aka the Honey Badger in 2012, who also wore #7! Mathieu plays professionally now for the Arizona Cardinals.

In other sports news, Lamar Odom, former star of the Los Angeles Lakers and Khloe Kardashian’s ex-husband, is in the hospital in Nevada and the prognosis isn’t good. He was found unconscious in a legal brothel yesterday afternoon after alleged days of partying and apparently using an herbal Viagra substitute.

The nominees were announced yesterday for the American Music Awards and Taylor Swift led the pack with six nods. The show airs live Sunday, November 22 and you can vote at AMAvote.com

Famous last words… I bet this guy feels like an idiot. Early in Tim McGraw’s career, a producer actually told him he didn’t have what it took to make it in music. Quote, "He said, 'I don't think this is for you.  Unless you want to find another part of this business to work in, you shouldn't be a singer.'"
