After a year of "near concert free" pandemic times in our area, we are starved for the return of live entertainment, and next Thursday we're in for a night like no other!

Texan Parker McCollum is only 29 years old and it could be argued that he is already at the top of the country game!

But don't let his youth fool you into believing that he's some kind of rookie in the country music world. McCollum actually released his first single in 2013. He was only 21 at the time.

Two years later, in 2015, he hit it big with the release of his first album, "The Limestone Kid."

It would take another five years of hard work but after taking his brand of country into the mainstream world, in December of 2020, McCollum's "Pretty Heart" hit #1 in Country Radio!

He's Coming to Shreveport!

Next Thursday, October 21, at 8:00 pm, Shreveport's country music fans get a dose of why McCollum has achieved so much at a young age when he hits the stage at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium!  He'll be appearing on the same stage that Elvis played. I wonder if he's as excited to be there as we are to have him?
