Couple Celebrating 80th Anniversary

Roy and Dorothy Fleming of Wisconsin have woken up together for 80 years now!  At their 80th wedding anniversary celebration, they agreed that the secret to their long marriage is that Roy “knows who’s boss.”  

Dorothy, 95, semi-tongue-in-cheek remarked  “He knows who’s boss. That’s how we got along!”  However, Roy, 100, said his wife was not entirely joking. “Whatever she says is right!” The couple’s two sons, Earl and Allan, attended the party, and Earl said his own 60th wedding anniversary is coming up. Granddaughter Shar Fleming said her grandparents complement each other perfectly. “Grandpa still likes his beer. He had two at his 100th birthday, and a big cheeseburger. And Grandma loves her pizza. And they both love sweets. Grandpa can’t see very well, and Grandma can’t hear very well. So they make up for each other,” she said.
