Country Legend Merle Haggard Dies at 79 [VIDEO]

Country music legend Merle Haggard died today, sadly, on his 79th birthday. Haggard, who had been ill for a while, postponed his show in Bossier at the Horseshoe Casino Riverdome March 4, 2016 without setting a reschedule date.

Haggard was diagnosed with double pneumonia in December and was hospitalized for several weeks. According to Country Aircheck, Merle has been in hospice care recently.
