Whether you are a proud "Highland Homie," a lover of live local music, or, like me, mostly there for the mouthwatering local food vendors, it is time to map out your day! One of our area's most fun and unique autumn traditions is officially back in Columbia Park.

The Highland Area Partnership is bringing us the 22nd Annual Highland Jazz and Blues Festival (presented by Live! Casino and Hotel) on Saturday, September 19, 2026. Running from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Shreveport’s historic Highland neighborhood, this favorite local festival is free for everyone to attend.

Beyond the iconic music, Columbia Park will feature over 70 food trucks and artisan vendors, a dedicated pet area for your furry friends, and a hands-on Children’s Area filled with local art activities. You can even catch the big games on TV over at the Xfinity truck or ride the FREE BOM Bank shuttle continuously from Mall St. Vincent!
