SHREVEPORT, LA - The gambling dollars flowing into Shreveport Bossier took a bit of a hit in June. Overall numbers from May to June are down 9% for all of the local casinos. One of the local boats did see a slight increase in revenues.

Horseshoe Casino in Bossier City saw the biggest decline. Revenues are down more than 20%. Only one casino saw a gain. Sam’s Town Casino in Shreveport posted a 1.5% increase from May to June.

Bally’s Casino in Shreveport saw revenues drop by 2.5% from May to June even though smoking at the Shreveport casinos is now allowed again.

Comparing the local numbers to June from last year, revenues at the Shreveport Bossier casinos are down more than 12%. The casinos brought in more than $48 million in June of 2022, compared to $42 million in June of 2023.

We must note, casino revenues in Shreveport Bossier typically show declines from May to June. It's apparently part of the seasonal operations.
