Caddo Correctional Center Frying Fish on Friday for Charity Funds
This Friday, you can fill your belly, and help out some amazing organizations at the same time. That's right, your hunger could help out sick and abused kids and folks with intellectual and developmental disabilities right here in our community!
Deputies at the Caddo Correctional Center will be selling plate lunches to raise funds for their Christmas projects (St. Jude, Holy Angels, and the Cara Center) this Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. It's not just fish either, you can take your choice of 3 menu items: fish ($10), stuffed shrimp ($11), and chicken strips ($10). Each meal comes packed with french fries, hush puppies, and a cookie.
According to a post on the official Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Facebook page, your delicious and helpful lunch can be picked up on McNeil Street next to the Caddo Parish Courthouse. You can pre-order by calling (318) 677-5275, and they will even deliver orders of 10 plates or more (but, they probably won't use the lights and siren to do so).
