This week we are blessed to crown Britney Spivey as our latest recipient of the Caught in the Act Award.

Having known Britney for most of her life, I wasn't surprised when I saw her nomination letter come in from Kara Hodges.

See, Britney is the epitome of what we try to highlight each week. Dedicated to God and family. Blessed with a servant's heart and more than willing to always place the needs of others in front of her own.

Just look at the letter we got from Kara and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about!

If you know Britney Spivey, you know she is the best person in the whole world. One that does SO much for others, but never gives herself any of the credit she deserves. Not only is she the owner of Simply Chic Boutique, but she is also a mother to four boys, a friend to every single person she comes in contact with, a constant encourager, and a true selfless leader. She always goes above and beyond not only for us that work with her, but for her family, friends, and community. She is constantly donating her time and money to teachers, schools, healthcare workers, churches, businesses, etc. and she never complains and never seeks praise or approval. I've seen Britney literally give the clothes off of her back to someone in need. Her heart is always seeking others before herself. Britney is truly a gift. She is a constant reminder to show faith, love, compassion, and devotion to everyone around us. I truly believe that God placed Britney in my life so I could learn from her and be more like her because this world needs a million more Britney Spivey's in it. I know her mom is looking down from Heaven smiling from ear to ear knowing Britney is making a difference in everyone's lives. I could brag on a thousand other things about Brit, but to know her is to love her. If anyone deserves this honor, it would be her. She is constantly making me, my coworkers, her mom, and family proud every day!
