Bristol’s Babies: Meet Lady Bird
Meet Lady Bird, she's a six-year-old Catahoula mix with stunning blue eyes, available for adoption right now at Pet Savers Shreveport!
Did you know that back in 1979, the Catahoula Leopard was named the state dog of Louisiana? Lady Bird is a Catahoula mix which means she's categorized as a 'herding' dog and her breed is indigenous to central Louisiana.
Lady Bird has everything it takes to be successful in a new home, she just needs to be in a single dog family. Do you have it in your heart to take a chance on Lady? I sure hope you do, because she's got a lot of love to give!
Here's what the Pet Savers website has to say about Lady Bird:
I am a large 6 year old Catahoula mix and was with my owner for two years. I came to Pet Savers because I did not get along with one of the dogs at my house. I am spayed, up to date on shots, heartworm negative and house-trained. Also I get along with kids and cats. I am very smart and know some commands. I just need to find a new home where I am the only dog. I really am a good girl and would love to have another chance at a forever home. Just look at those eyes you know you've never met a dog like me.
