Bossier Parish Schools Close Tomorrow As Well

Bossier Parish Schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, August 30.  This just in from Sonja Bailes of Bossier Parish Schools.

Bossier Schools has been keeping a close watch on Hurricane Isaac and based on the latest information received from the National Weather Service, classes will be canceled Thursday, August 30, 2012.  Based on the forecast models predicting Isaac to take a westward turn, Bossier Schools Superintendent D.C. Machen felt it best to err on the side of caution to keep our students and employees safe.  We will continue to evaluate and assess the situation as conditions progress and make a determination Thursday afternoon whether school will remain closed Friday or if classes can resume.
