Bossier Parish Bridge to be Closed One Month
In case you haven't noticed lately, travel in Bossier Parish has been a little dicey, especially with the intermittent lane closures at I-220 and I-20 near Louisiana Downs, but it's all part of progress.
Nonetheless, there's probably no more thought that goes into a lunar mission than what some people have to plan for their morning or afternoon commute. And now, those in North Bossier Parish have another slight wrinkle to contend with.
Residents who live or travel in the Plain Dealing area need to know that according to the Bossier Parish Police Jury, a bridge on Goodman Springs Rd. is now closed by the Bossier Parish Police Jury’s highway department.
The closure is located .1 mile east of Goodman Springs’ intersection with Mott Road.
The closure is expected to last approximately one month.
For Fire, EMS and School Board information, address ranges of 100-123 Goodman Springs Road can be accessed from Mott Road. Address ranges of 125-416 Goodman Springs Road will need to be accessed from Mott Oilfield Road
