Bossier Archery Tournament to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network
With temperatures soaring again this afternoon near the 100 degree mark, it's hard to think about deer hunting, but believe it or not, here in Area 2 of Northwest Louisiana, we are only 47 days from the start of archery season.
Keeping in mind that opening day is October 1 and it will be here before you know it, honing your archery skill should be paramount for the next few weeks, and here's a great opportunity for you to do that and help the kids of Children's Miracle Network at the same time!
It's Almost Time For Bownanza!
Hoot and Holler Archery has announced their 4th Annual Bownanza will be held next Saturday, August 27 at 1406 Hwy 614 in Haughton, Louisiana.
You can actually choose your start time to either begin at 8:30 am or 12:00 pm, but all competitors are asked to arrive at least one hour before shoot time.
This year's contest will feature twenty different target hunting scenarios.
How Much Is Registration Fee?
Competitors can pre-register at Hoot and Holler Archery on Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City for only $40.
There will also be additional novelty shoots that you can enter with all those proceeds going to JOAD, which is Junior Olympic Archery Development, a program of USA Archery that helps archers to enjoy the sport recreationally or progress to the excitement of competition!
Bownanza will also feature door prizes and a raffle for a Hoyt Carbon Compound Bow!
