Amanda Pierce Is Latest Caught in the Act Award Recipient

It's like they don't even know how to do the wrong thing. They'd never think of looking past a need that must be met. They could never allow anyone to just "figure it out themselves."

Such is the case with Amanda Pierce. We received her nomination letter from, "the other Amanda"; her dear friend, Amanda Mitts, and the letter literally moved us to tears.

Amanda Pierce is one of those that we should all be so fortunate to be blessed with and it's her compassion and willingness to serve that we celebrate this week and are tickled to name her this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Where do I start about Amanda? She’s my best friend and her love for everyone is unwavering! She has the most tender heart ever! If anyone is ever in need she’s there. She has some health issues, but that does not stop her from doing good ALL the time. She found out a kid did not have costume in her child’s class so without hesitation she went and picked up a costume for the child. She came back and realized the child’s sibling did not have one either so back to the store she went and got one. She helps at our school a lot and when there was a grandparent book fair going on, she noticed one child did not have a grandparent so without hesitation she purchased the child a book. She goes above and beyond for everyone she loves dearly and even ones she barely knows! You’ll never meet a more compassionate person. She does all this not for recognition but because she truly has a heart of gold. I’m calling her out today. She has been to my house several times helping me with this or that, without question. And the love she has for my special needs sister is more than some of our family has for her. She is definitely my sister from another mister. Anytime anyone needs her, she’s just a call away. I love you Amanda. You are the best! You’re definitely The “nice” Amanda from the “A” team ;)
