This new exhibit will be interactive and adventurous.

There is truly always something to do in Shreveport-Bossier and thanks to innovators like Dianne Clark, there are always new things to discover. Clark is the executive director at Sci-Port Discovery Center. Her recent visit to the Museum of Intrigue in New York has inspired a new exhibit at Sci-Port.

The Gallery of Intrigue is set to open to the public on April 4.

It's the first of a series of exhibits that will be opening across the nation. With eight STEAM-based adventures and a 1,000-square-foot interactive mural, it is sure to be one-of-a-kind. The gallery will feature live interpretations of STEAM-based software games for both individuals and teams. Visitors will explore the gallery solving clues.

Each interactive game is based on a local landmark. The Pelican Express is just like the Central Train Station Depot, the Inventor's Mansion is inspired by Captain Henry Miller Shreve's home, and the Caddo Cabin will feature animals and fish you can find in our area. The interactive mural is a partnership between Sci-Port, Audubon Louisiana, and the Caddo Lake Institute.

The Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce and the Bossier Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting for the Gallery of Intrigue on Wednesday, March 18 at 4 p.m. There will be a sneak peek of the gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. The official grand opening ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 4.
