Maressa Dowden loves her some Alicia Hall, and there's obviously great reason for it. See, Alicia is the kind of woman that we would all be lucky to know. Just speaking to her on the phone, I could hear the joy in her heart. I literally "felt" her happiness through the phone line. She even asked if she could give me an "ear hug" when I told her that she was this week's recipient of the Kiss Country Caught in the Act Award.

Alicia credits her grandmother, Alice, for teaching her the value of caring for others  Those lessons certainly stuck and Alicia's kindness extends to everyone around her.

Just take a look at the nomination letter we got from Maressa, and you'll understand.

I’d like to tell you about my friend Alicia Hall. Alicia is the most selfless kindhearted person I know. She is always doing kind things for others and putting smiles on everyone's faces. Just recently, she had multiple friends that were sick or recovering from surgeries and that Sunday she spent her afternoon cooking and delivering dinner for their families, including mine. She is always thinking of others and never hesitates to help in any way she can. She is definitely one of a kind and lights up every room she enters! She has had a rough year but she never lets anything get her down. She keeps pushing though, spreading her love and positivity to everyone. Alicia is always doing an act of kindness, that is why I think she deserves some recognition as this week's recipient of the Caught in the Act Award.

Alicia Hall, thank you for being an inspiration to us all and a big reason why this is the greatest place in America to live!

And because you've been "Caught in the Act" the gang at Silver Star have a $100 Gift Certificate for you to come have dinner on them!

Take a listen to the phone call we made to Alicia to let her know that she was this week's Caught In The Act Award recipient.
