Tina Treadwell, Hollywood talent executive, casting director and producer, will hold a two-day workshop on TV and film acting Dec. 3-4 at TASA Studio, 2924 Knight St., Room 411 in Building 4, in Shreveport.

Tina Treadwell helped launch the careers of Shia LaBeouf, Hilary Duff, Lee Thompson Young and NSYNC while launching the talent department at Disney Channel. She oversaw the casting of all the series and movies from 1997 thru 2001 and after returning to casting and working on the feature THE GUARDIAN with Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher and director Andrew Davis, she went on to start Treadwell Entertainment: a management and production company which develops movies and series for the clients she now represents.

Classes for ages 8 to 12 will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 3 and classes for ages 13 to 17 will be held from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Activities will include monologue technique, character analysis and improv. Parents can attend an open forum discussion an hour before the end of the Sunday workshop to gain insight about the industry and audition opportunities.

Also, a free improv class will be held from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Dec. 5 at the studio. The class is open to teenagers and adults.
