9/11 Memorial Events In Shreveport Bossier

It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years since that horrible day that changed the life of every American. With September 11th approaching we are collecting information on local events to honor those whose lives were lost as a result of those terror attacks on our country that day, as well as every single person who responded: first responders, military, everyone. If you know of an upcoming event, please add it to our list!

Here’s a neat upcoming event if you want to get out, get active and take a moment to honor the memory of 9/11: The Run for Remembrance. Sunday, September 11^th at Veteran’s Memorial Park. A 5K run/walk and you can even take the kids and walk with your stroller or wagon. There will be a moment of reflection to honor the lives that perished during the horrible terror attacks of September 11^th, 2001 as remember those events of 10 years ago.

Also, the City of Bossier is having a ceremony of rememberance at 1:30 pm September 11th at Liberty Garden on the Municipal Complex grounds.
