2021 First Day of School Dates in Northwest Louisiana

I have to begin this article with an apology. I have to apologize to anyone in Webster Parish who either has a school aged child or works in the Webster Parish School system.

Earlier this morning, I proved how quickly misinformation can spread, and this time I was the source for it.

In an attempt to give the dates that kids would return to school in the area, I googled Webster Parish School Calendar. It popped up and said, September 1. I thought how nice it might be that kids wouldn't have to return to school as quickly in Webster Parish as they did in the other area parishes. Well, September 1 was the correct date; for 2020. Not for 2021.

So, as I once again managed to prove my lack of gray matter and life as a cerebrally challenged individual, I did have somewhat of an epiphany and thought I might save the day by providing you with a quick reference sheet in regards to the actual and true first day of school for all the parishes in Northwest Louisiana.

It did occur to me that most parents did have access to the school loop provided by most school districts, but for those who have children who might be about to start kindergarten, change schools, or are just moving to the area, might find this useful.
