13 Fragrances Louisiana Men Wouldn’t Mind Smelling Like
Father's Day. It should be a simplistic celebration and recognition of the men in our lives who put us on the path we are on. For some of us, that path has been a good one. For others, the road less traveled can still be attributed to dear old dad but maybe not with the fondness depicted in a late 80s sitcom.
Father's have their own unique smell. For a lot of us when those chemicals combine to create an odor our nose can recognize it takes us back to a simpler time in our lives. A time when we lived with an actual hero who could cut grass, fix cars, climb on the roof, and occasionally bring back meat for the table in the form of freshly caught fish or just harvested venison.
Unfortunately, that's not how the advertising minds of what used to be Madison Avenue want us to think when it comes to fragrances for men. Instead of pitching us something that makes a man smell like a man, they pitch us something that makes us believe we'd be more appealing to potential partners for the procreation of the species.
To paraphrase Shania Twain, "Man, I smell like a woman". No, there's nothing wrong with smelling pleasant. But how we define what smells pleasant is where the wires get crossed. I suppose it's all personal preference but for most regular guys a good deodorant is really all we want to wear even in the oppressive heat that happens right around Father's Day.
And it's with that spirit that we offer you, 13 choices for fragrances that many men can identify with and wouldn't mind wearing in public places.
