Hitting the big 4-0 has always been taboo in our culture – it was a thing to be feared. Women turned 39 several times before they would officially succumb to the inevitable 40. It has to happen though. You can’t trick father time, even if you can scam him with a couple nips and tucks along the way.

However, the stigma associated with this unavoidable fate has been all but forgotten thanks to some well-known Hollywood babes who have made aging, both graceful and sexy. Some of these women are even sexier than actresses half their age. Take a good close look at LiLo lately? Not to be mean but that’s a rough 25 years of aging.

The women who populate this list aren’t quite over the hill yet but are standing at the precipice – and still smoking hot as ever.

Tiffani Thiessen, you had us back in 1989 when we first saw Kelly Kapowski’s shining face at Bayside High. It’s no wonder you were captain of the Bayside Tigers cheerleading squad and the apple of Zach Morris’s eye.

While McGowan has made some interesting choices when it comes to her male suitors (we’re looking at you, Marilyn Manson) we’ll take this as a good sign – meaning, we have a chance.

It’s hard enough to believe that Jennifer Garner has 39 years of life under her belt, let alone that she’s birthed 3 children – without a doubt, Garner is one of Hollywood’s hottest Moms.

The brown eyed babe lights up the screen with her million-watt smile, which is off-set by a pair of all too adorable dimples. She’s won us over by playing an assassin and a super hero, but not so much by marrying Ben Affleck.
