$1.7 Billion in Gift Cards Not Spent…WHAT?

Did you know that this year alone more than 1.7 Billion dollars (that’s with a B) will go unspent this year? Three quarters of us will get someone a gift card this year.

I can understand if the gift card is for something you’d never use like an underwater basket weaving class but for Amazon or Chili’s or Best Buy. NUTS!!! Money someone spent down the drain.

I have a solution. If you don’t want your gift card, I’d be more than happy to take it off your hands. Just send it my way (Julie K., 6341 Westport Ave, Shreveport 71129) and I’ll find the store or website.

Or here’s an even better idea: there are websites where you can sell these cards. Ebay is one. Also, Giftcardrescue.com pays you cash for them.
