Watch the Kissin’ Bandit win the Mudbug Madness Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest

The 31st annual Mudbug Madness Festival has come and gone.  You can check out some photos from the festival posted by folks here.

I'm not one to toot my own horn, actually... yes I am.  So, in case you missed it... here's video of my victory at the VIP/Celebrity Crawfish Eating Contest that traditionally kicks off the festival each year.

I make a big deal each year about this contest.  Although I was the winner in 2003, I tend to remind people that I'm a 10 time runner-up in the contest.  Or, as Gary McCoy puts it... a 10 time "first loser."

Some of the VIP/Celebrities in the contest include radio host Moon Griffon, Shreveport Assistant Chief of Police Wayne Smith who has won the contest for the last four years and some of our local TV News Personalities like Doug Warner.

What can I say, this was my year.  I was going so fast, you'd have had to "cheat to beat me."

Notice in the video how many shells I spit out.  What you can't see is how many shells ate.  Next to me is Kiss Country 93-7's General Manager Lisa Janes, who is also a former champion, and Sunday Kiss Country DJ Chris Dee.
