In a recent interview, the singer of “Redneck Crazy” says he sings about what he knows.

Tyler Farr, talking about his approach to songwriting, said, "I try to write songs that I've lived and record songs I believe in. When I'm singing them . . . hopefully people can feel that."

Farr has a sense of humor as well. When asked about the greatest thing that has come out of his hit song, he said, "Uh, I bought a bug zapper and a new set of golf clubs."

Tyler’s album “Redneck Crazy” is out next week, but you can listen to it early at CountryOutfitter.
