Championship Bull Riding (CBR) keeps bringing their best to Bossier City and they're doing it again this Saturday (3/29)! The Eldorado Resort Casino Shreveport Tuff Hedeman Louisiana Shootout presented by Lander’s Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram will be the 11th of 14 stops on the CBR Road to Cheyenne Tour.

It's the 11th year for Tuff Hedeman to bring the best in bull riding action to the Centurylink Center.  CBR has become known for their action-packed performances that keep fans on the edge of their seats. That's largely due to the influence of four-time world champion bull rider Tuff Hedeman who coordinates every element and attends to the smallest details.

From having great bulls matched up with super star riders, to upbeat music and enthusiastic fans, the Tuff Hedeman Louisiana Shootout will be second to none. The competition will again follow the CBR’s very popular tournament-style format. It appeals to new spectators and established fans alike as riders advance through the rounds and may get on as many as three bulls in one night.

Action gets underway at 8 p.m. with 24 riders doing their best to stay on for eight seconds and advance to the semifinals. The 12 top scores get to ride in the semifinals with the best four advancing to a Shoot Out round where the bulk of $30,000 in prize money is paid.

In addition to lucrative prize money, bull riders accumulate points which qualify them for the World Finals, which will be in Wyoming in July as part of the historical Cheyenne Frontier Days celebration. Those points become very important as the rider who ends the world finals at the top of the standings will be crowned the CBR world champion and will receive a $100,000 bonus.

The competition is also part of the CBR Million Dollar Bull Team Challenge. Bull owners will bring three bulls that are featured during the first two rounds of competition. Those bulls receive points for their performance in the arena. Additionally, the time the bull rider stays on is added to the bull’s score. At the end of the night, the owner with the three highest-scoring bulls will receive $25,000.

Immediately following the bull riding, fans will get a taste of Louisiana's own Frank Foster as he puts his own brand of soul in country music and brings his Southern Soul Tour to the Centurylink Center.

Tickets start at just $13 with a variety of options available. They are available by calling 800-653-8000, or online at Ticketmaster.com
