Time Breastfeeding Cover Sparks Controversy

This week’s Time magazine cover features a 26 year old woman breastfeeding her 3 year old son. The provocative photo is part of the Time cover story on “attachment parenting.”“Attachment parenting” is an approach recommended in 1992′s “The Baby Book” by Dr. Bill Sears. Sears recommends extended breast-feeding, co-sleeping, and “baby wearing.”
The provocative cover was published online Thursday by Time, it has predictably already stirred controversy in the twitter-verse.
