Teen Causes $100,000 Worth of Damage at Car Dealership
A 16-year-old driver has been blamed for a wreck that caused more than $100,000 in damage to new trucks and other property at a Texas auto dealership.
The driver suffered minor injuries in the accident and was treated at the scene.
Authorities say the teen was driving on a busy highway when he lost control of his truck while trying to pass a friend, who was in another vehicle.
The teen's truck spun into Allen Samuels Chevrolet — striking a fence, a light pole, two flag poles and five new trucks on the dealership lot.
Corpus Christi police say no charges were immediately filed as the investigation continues into the accident.
