The Hurricane Season will eventually end, what's next for Louisiana as we gaze into the crystal ball toward the Winter season.

Luckily, we don't live in a state that is pounded with snow everyday during the winter, but if we did, this would be the way to get rid of it! This kid is a genius!

Forecasters are suggesting that you won't need your heavy coat quite as often during the upcoming winter season across Louisiana.

Ugghh...It's foggy this morning. Careful on your drive in! However, outside of all the rain, we've had a really mild winter so you haven't heard much complaining, but when the next Arctic Northener blows through, rest assured, you and me, and the rest of the South, will become the biggest babies on the planet whining about how frozen we are.

Don't trust what you see and feel outside, look at the calendar. It is officially Winter. Here's what we can expect from Mother Nature for the next three months.

A winter storm warning has been issued for freezing rain and sleet for our area and goes into effect this evening, Wed. March 4 at 6PM and expires Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 9AM.

Here in Louisiana we handle 100 degree weather without batting an eye.  We can take a four inch rain and never miss a step.  We can drive through a mudslide and 99% humidity just means it a little "dry" today.  But we totally freak out with even the slightest amount of snow.
