Happy Titanic Sinking Day! Well, that doesn't make sense. It's not really a happy thing. I remember watching the movie Titanic the night it came out in South Park Mall's movie theater. When all the people were in the water, I kept hearing this wailing sound...
It doesn’t get a lot of press coverage and the banks are still open, but March 23 is National Puppy Day. For the seventh year, we will spend this day reflecting on what it is that we love so much about puppies. Perhaps this is a day we should have more than once a year.
It’s been a series of best selling teen novels and a much anticipated movie release, and now ‘The Hunger Games’ has achieved legendary status because it has been spoofed and spoofed and spoofed again on the Web. And, this seems like a trend that isn’t going to stop any time soon.
A friend sent this video of three young musicians to me and I was so impressed with the instrumental talent of these boys. It's funny, because the video starts kinda slow and then out of nowhere they are all sawin' down on their instruments. I hope my young'un takes an interest in music. Check it out!
I don't know exactly why, but show me a cute creature video and it will stop me in my tracks. And this baby elephant is a perfect example. I never knew elephants liked dirt so much. Check out this baby from the Toledo Zoo.

She sounds JUST LIKE that singer Jewel. . . but, no way--because she doesn't look ANYTHING like her. Watch as the crowd reacts when "Karen" a plain Jane office worker for a manufacturing company takes the stage at a Karaoke bar and belts out some Jewel tunes. Yes, Karen is actually Jewel, who went undercover for the crew at Funny or Die.
A drive-thru window. . . for the dead! Well, isn't that an interesting idea? You don't even have to get out of the car to view the deceased at this funeral home in California. I can't help but wonder if there is anyone policing the traffic by the viewing window? Or maybe just anyone can drive thru and gander at the body on display?
I know it's past Christmas, but it might take some practice to actually put one under the tree. hahaha I LOVEEE this!!
