While the big releases and heavy-hitters of the fall movie season make the festival rounds or rev up their marketing campaigns, audiences have to tough it out and wade through a lot of not-so-good movies. The 1990 hit movie “Pretty Woman” starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts was not supposed to be the romantic comedy we all know it to be. The original script titled “$3000” was very dark. Julia's character Vivian was supposed to be a drug addict in addition to being a prostitute.

While at the movies last weekend, I was impressed to see that Hollywood is appearing to embrace Christianity.  We were treated to the trailers for new movies, “Son of God” and “Noah” which are scheduled for release in the next couple of months and coming later in the year are “Heaven Is For Real,” “Exodus” and “Mary, Mother of Christ.”
