Summer is officially over, September is here, and the movies stink. While the big releases and heavy-hitters of the fall movie season make the festival rounds or rev up their marketing campaigns, audiences have to tough it out and wade through a lot of not-so-good movies. Welcome to September. It’s like this every year. Get ready for an excruciating month at the movies and at the box office.

'American Sniper' starring Bradley Cooper is on pace to be the weekend's top box office draw. According to Deadline.com, the movie's preview ranks as the highest preview night for an R-rated drama beating out last year's 'Lone Survivor.' ...

Hey it's Jody! In my state of boredom yesterday, I began watching the worst movie ever made! 'Bigfoot' with Danny Bonaduce, Barry Williams and Alice Cooper was absolutely terrible. Kinda like a train wreck that you just can't turn away from. Please watch so I'm not alone.

Hollywood moved into the Kiss Country studio this morning when we had the stars and crew of the new movie "50 to 1" in the house! We were joined by Christian Kane, Jim Wilson,  Faith Conroy and Hugo Perez and they were a riot!

The 1990 hit movie “Pretty Woman” starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts was not supposed to be the romantic comedy we all know it to be. The original script titled “$3000” was very dark. Julia's character Vivian was supposed to be a drug addict in addition to being a prostitute.

A new teaser for the Disney film Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie as the Sleeping Beauty villain, has been released online.

While at the movies last weekend, I was impressed to see that Hollywood is appearing to embrace Christianity.  We were treated to the trailers for new movies, “Son of God” and “Noah” which are scheduled for release in the next couple of months and coming later in the year are “Heaven Is For Real,” “Exodus” and “Mary, Mother of Christ.”
