This weekend we babysat Gabby. Gabby is a Mastiff--a fun loving, slobbery, sweet, massive dog. Gabby is also a Christmas Tree ornament eater. Unfortunately, we did not know of her fondness of ornaments prior to this weekend or we may have salvaged a couple gold shimmery balls and one multicolored glittery leaf ornament. I just spoke with Gabby's mom, Lauren, and no--she hasn't seen any "sign" of the ornaments yet. . . if you get me.
Where do you hide secrets in Nashville? In Kimberly Schlapman's hair! It is the most genius hiding place, no one would ever think to dig around in that voluminous blonde piece of hair artwork. Bacon, bottle of whiskey, who knows what else they will pull of her wig. . . fun stuff!

This elderly couple recently became internet sensations through their accidental video as they were trying to take a photo with their new laptop computer. I'm not laughing at them, I am laughing with them. If I have learned anything through the technology advances of the past 10 years it is that age is not the factor that determines the learning curve.
I absolutely love this video! I laughed and then I felt so bad, will someone please give this poor puppy some BACON?! This is proof that I have an overactive imagination, because I felt so sorry for this dog after watching this video---I had to remind myself that he isn't really that sad. . . or is he?
March 17, 2011 With 3 boys in the house, I've got memories...scratch that...nightmares.. of all the different things I had to do when they were babies to get them to go to sleep and more importantly, stop crying. Buddy, the oldest, liked his mechanical swing and the sound of the vacuum cleaner. You'll never believe how long it took to find that combination.
