January 23, 2013 Bossier school district spokeswoman Sonja Bailes says at least 3 of the children were taken to Willis Knighton on Greenwood Road to be further checked out. Some parents have arrived at the scene to pick up their kids and another bus has been dispatched to pick up the rest.
Breaking News: A train has derailed in Keithville. Injuries are reported, although we do not yet have confirmation on the types of injuries or how many people were injured.
Kristin Chenoweth was rushed to the hospital after being injured while on the set of CBS’ series ‘The Good Wife‘ on Wednesday afternoon. According to reports, the multi-talented country singer and actress was struck by a large piece of lighting equipment, which was pushed into her by a gust of wind. Chenoweth was knocked to the ground and hit her head on then concrete.

I-20 IS OPEN AGAIN in Bossier Parish. Around 5pm yesterday, an accident on I-20 between mile markers 29 and 31 involving an 18 wheeler loaded with 16,000 pounds of explosives caused a near total gridlock of Bossier Parish
As of 2:30 pm today, emergency crews in Red River Parish are at the scene of a train and 18-wheeler accident.
The accident is on Highway 1 close to Highway 84.
There are no reports of any injuries at this time, or the type of cargo the truck or the train was carrying
This could have ended much worse. The mailman accidentally left his truck in reverse and it shoots off weaving through the parking lot, causing much less damage than I anticipated. And I can't tell if the lady who runs out of the store is worried about her vehicle or the mailman.
