Celebrate your Irish roots Friday, March 17th at Patty in the Plaza in Shreveport’s Festival Plaza from 5-11pm. $20 at the gate with a $5 military discount. Bands include Le Freak and Spazmatics.
The Mudbugs are back in action on home ice Friday, March 17th and Saturday, March 18th at George’s Pond at Hirsch Coliseum. Game time is 7:11pm both nights and the ‘Bugs will be taking on the Amarillo Bulls.
The Louisiana Redbud Festival in Vivian, LA goes from 9am-9pm with a ton of different events including a parade, pageants, a 5k, a car show and more!
60 of the best high school basketball players will meet at Bossier Parish Community College to show of their stuff! Doors open at 12pm and admission is $10. The girls will play at 1pm and the boys play at 3pm Saturday, March 18th.
Shreveport/Bossier will have the ‘blues’ Saturday, March 18th with the 11th Annual Shreveport Blues Festival at Bossier City’s CenturyLink Center starting at 8pm. Featured performers are Bobby Rush, TK Soul, Shirley Brown, Willie Clayton, Tyree Neal, Bigg Robb, Bishop Bullwinkle and Terry Wright.
