Natchitoches Parish Boil Order Means No School Friday
It will be an extra long Holiday weekend for Natchitoches Parish students as school is cancelled tomorrow due to low water pressure. Listen for the collective sigh from all the school aged children who do not live in Natchitoches Parish—sighing because they wish they too were out of school tomorrow.
All residents of Natchitoches are under a boil order until further notice. Superintendent Derwood Duke reports that as a result of the very low water pressure and boil advisory, schools will be closed Friday. Classes will resume as scheduled Tuesday.
