My Favorite James Best Moment From The Andy Griffith Show

James Best passed away April 6th, 2015 and I loved him a Rosco P. Coltrane, but this is what sticks out as my favorite Lames Best moment! He plays Jim Lindsay on the Andy Griffith Show! The first clip is when Andy arrests Jim Lindsey, a street musician, and tries to steer him to where he can make his music pay off. Jim declines, saying he's not ready yet. When a tour band stops in Mayberry for lunch, Andy sees his chance and arrests both the band and Jim and his guitar. After some arguing and a little wisdom from Andy, Jim plays a tune, a deal is made, and Jim joins the band.
