Phillip Yong has turned himself into Shreveport Police and been arrested on attempted murder charges. Yong allegedly stabbed two men at the Sand Bar in mid December.

The incident happened at the popular downtown night club around 4 am on December 17th. When police arrived on the scene to investigate, Matthew Scontrino and Frederick Fuggins were both suffering from non-life threatening stab wounds.

After talking with witnesses and collecting other evidence, Police learned that Yong may be responsible for the violent encounter. According to SPD, the two victims were attempting to de-escalate a fight when Yong allegedly stabbed the men with an unknown object.

Yong has been arrested on attempted second degree murder and aggravated battery charges.
