Championship Bull Riding brought the “Real Cowboy Sport” to Cheyenne Frontier Days™ delivering two days of drama, anticipation and spectacular bull rides that left fans knowing they just witnessed something special.

During the second night of the World Championships there were 18 qualified rides, 5 of them 90 points or better, with cowboys who toughed it out to ride four bulls over two days, which truly exemplified the spirit of  a World Championship. Fans in Cheyenne got more than they bargained for. Not only did they watch world champions, Wesley Silcox and JW Harris duke it out for the event win, they also observed Louisiana cowboy Cole Echols win his first CBR world championship.

After eight years of professional bull riding Cole Echols finally achieved the pinnacle of a bull riders dream by earning the CBR world championship title at the prestigious Daddy of ‘Em All®.   Echols had a phenomenal season in 2013 with a win in Dodge City, and was consistently in the Top Five of the CBR World Standings throughout the year. Echols takes home a $100,000 bonus from the CBR, and is currently a top contender in the PRCA rankings – where he could very well win a second World Championship title this year.

Watch the CBR World Championships at Cheyenne Frontier Days™ on Fox Sports Network (FSN) Sunday August 11th - night one,  Sunday August 18th, night two.
