Lightning Strike Caught on Camera in Haughton [VIDEO]

I don't think it's news to anyone that we've have some pretty serious weather here in the Ark-La-Tex over the past few days. It's been intense and I don't know about you, the lightning strikes are the worst for me!

As you've probably heard, I'm a horse owner and I bend over backwards trying to make sure they're safe and sound. When bad weather threatens, no matter how slim the chance, my babies are tucked into their stable for safety's sake. I might be a bit overprotective, but after hearing my friend Lori's story a few years ago, I'm not taking any chances. She lost four horses in ONE lightning strike at her farm. It was heartbreaking to say the least.

That's why Lori's horses were tucked in safe and sound when lightning hit her property again this week. Check out the video they caught of the lightning strike on their home security system. This footage will remind you how serious these storms are... flooding aside. Please be safe!
