Are you ready, Kiss Country? We're bringing country stars Jerrod Niemann and Josh Thompson to Shreveport-Bossier for one heck of a show!

Saturday, May 10, we'll turn Festival Plaza into a country music fan's dream come true with our first ever Miller Lite Kiss Country Fest presented by Metro PCS.

Tickets will go on sale this Friday, March 21 at 10:00 am here at Kiss Country at 6341 Westport Avenue in Shreveport or at EventBrite.com.  Advance tickets will be $25.  Tickets at the gate will be $30.  We also have a limited number of VIP Packages available for $75.

And for this first ever Kiss Country Fest, who better to help us kick it off for the first time than two hot acts who are both prepping new albums?

Josh Thompson's new album "Turn It Up" is due April 1, while Jerrod Niemann's latest effort "High Noon" hits stores March 25.

About the Artists

Jerrod Niemann

While writing and recording his new album, Jerrod Niemann immersed himself in the history of country music. A student of music theory and production -- he majored in Performance Art Technology at South Plains College in Levelland, Texas -- Jerrod pondered a question that is heard more and more frequently these days: Just what exactly constitutes country?

His answer to that query can be found in the musically and technically groundbreaking Free The Music. "This album is my interpretation of how I feel about country right now," Jerrod says. [Official Site]

Josh Thompson

Josh Thompson's live shows have earned him a solid fan base and gained him plenty of respect from those other acts that dared to follow him – including Brad Paisley, Eric Church, Justin Moore and Skynyrd, all of whom have taken Thompson on the road. Turn It Up backs up the ferocity of those shows, but also reignites the momentum he established in the recording part of his job. [Official Site]
